Welcome to Class 10!
A message from Mrs Robinson & Mrs Ashton
We hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and is looking forward to 2019.
This half term will be a very exciting one as we starting a new topic all about the Vikings in History and wolves in our English topic.
Year 6 will also continue with their revision for SATs. We know they are all going to try very hard this half term.
PE is on a Wednesday and Friday.
Spelling: Children will be set spellings on a Tuesday to be tested the following Tuesday.
English and Maths: Homework will be set on a Thursday and is due in on the following Wednesday. Please help your child to hand their homework in on time as children with late homework will lose golden time.
Reading: Children in year 6 should be reading regularly at home and discussing the events and the language in their book with an adult in order to improve their comprehension and to get them ready for their SATs..
Reading books must be brought into school every Thursday for checking. Please listen to your child read at home and make comments in their reading record at least once a week, so that they don’t miss Golden Time.
