There are close links between the school and church. We support each other and celebrate some special services together. Celebrations and festivals enable the children to experience services in church which are led by our children alongside our vicar.
Our vicar is Emma Handley. Emma leads worship in school once a week. She is also a governor of our school and supports us spiritually.
The yearly Advent appeals provide an opportunity for the church and school community to come together to raise money for local, national and international projects, with visitors being invited into school as well as church.
Please check St Paul's Church website to find the diary of events for church.
Many children from St Paul's also attend the Rainbows/Brownies at church. More details can be found on the church website – www.stpaulstaley.co.uk
Every Sunday (apart from family services) there is a busy Sunday School for children from the age of 3yrs held in the school lounge. Again more details can be found on the church website.
There are foundation governors from the church family who are members of the school governing body, who play an active and crucial role in leading and managing the school.
