Class 7 2020 - 2021
Welcome to Class 7!
A Message from Mr Browne
Hello everyone, I hope you are all okay after the news that schools have had to close once again. Hopefully we will be back together as soon as it is safe but while you are away from school we will be providing you with home learning tasks. Some of this work is from White Rose Maths, Oak National Academy and Purple Mash but you can also access work from the home learning packs.
During this time at home, you may be contacted by a member of staff from school. This might not always be your class teacher as they may still be teaching classes at school. Similarly, your online work may be marked by another member of staff. If you do attend school during this period of home learning, you may be taught by a teacher who is not your regular class teacher. However, this will be a teacher you are familiar with.
We have made it easier to see your work. Each day, ALL of your work for that day will come through as 2dos instead of being sent through 2email as attachments. Everyday, you will be set:
- An English lesson
- A Maths lesson
- At least one other activity (RE, Science, History etc depending on the day)
Each 2do will disappear after the day it is set so please try to hand each one in on time. If you need more time or if you need anything at all, please let us know by emailing us.
Maths will be set using White Rose.
Writing will be set from Oak National Academy or Plan Bee. There are videos to watch/slideshows to read and activities to complete.
Reading will be set daily using Oak Academy.
Our history topic this half term is The Stone Age to the Bronze Age. We will also set Computing, Art and RE 2Dos on Purple Mash.
Joe Wicks is doing fitness sessions which can follow here from Monday 11th January. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ
These are Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9am.
If you need anything, please feel free to contact me using 2email.
Take care and I hope to see you again soon,
