Class 7
Welcome to Class 7!
A Message from Mr Browne
I am very excited to start the new school year, I am sure we are going to learn lots of amazing things. We are a year 4 class and Mrs Parker supports us with our learning.
What we are learning this half term:
English: A narrative and a report based on the book Traction Man.
Science: Electricity
History: Ancient Egypt
Art: Egyptian art
RE: Why is the bible important for Christians today?
PSHE: Get Heartsmart
ICT: Coding (Purple Mash)
PE Hockey and rugby
We are reading Traction Man by Mini Grey and The Witches by Roald Dahl.
Homework is an Egyptian topic grid. Children are encouraged to complete at least 5 activities.
Spellings will be set on a Friday to be tested on the following Friday.
Please have your reading folder in school every day. It is important that you read at home. Adults in school try to read with children once per week. Please ensure all uniform and PE kits have the children's names in them.
