A Message from Mr Browne
Welcome back! We hope you have all had a good break.

Can we please remind you to ensure that all items of clothing are labelled with your child’s name, as well as lunch boxes and PE kits.

PE
PE is on Monday (indoor) and Friday (outdoor)

Homework
This half term children have got weekly homework. This is handed out on a Friday to be returned by the following Wednesday.

Spellings for this half term are available to download below.

Your child will read with an adult in school once a week. Please remind your child to bring their reading book into school every day. After sharing reading books at home, please sign reading records regularly.

When children have read their book and had their reading record signed at home, they can change their book at school.

For more detailed information on what we will be doing this half term please take a look at our class newsletter.

Useful Websites

  • BBC Bitesize - A primary school resource for children studying Key Stage 2 Maths, English and Science, featuring game activities and tests.

  • Thinkuknow - If you are 7, 8, 9 or 10, I bet you probably like to use the computer for fun. Why not take a look at this website to help you go on the internet in a safe way and know who to talk to if you are worried.

  • Times Table Rock Stars- this fantastic app aims to help the children become more fluent with recalling their multiplication facts. Children all have log in details and work is set by the teacher. Please see me if you are experiencing any difficulties (this has just been updated for Class 6).

  • Topmarks Daily Ten- short maths activities that the children in Class 6 should be familiar with.
