Welcome to Class 9. My name is Mrs Regan and I am the Class 9 Teacher.

I’ve have been extremely proud of how hard everyone has been working in class 9 so far.  I think Everyone is going to really enjoy our theme ‘Spies’ this half term.

In English the theme will be ...Spies!

In English this half term we will be using the text ‘Alex Rider, Stormbreaker’ by Anthony Horowitz and ‘006 and a bit’ by Kes Gray and Nick Sarratt’

Music:   Jazz - Bossa Nova and swing

PE Information: 

Indoor kit will be needed on Friday for the Sports Coach (School Yellow PE top, black shorts, trainers or pumps) Football tops will not be allowed. Year 5 will also need an indoor kit on a Wednesday.

Please note PE kit can be left in school for the half term.

Year 6 will need their Swimming kit every Wednesday until Christmas. 


Spelling: Children will be set spellings on a Friday to be tested the following Friday.

English and Maths: Year 6: CGP Arithmetic and Grammar revision guides. This work is set on a Friday and due in on a Thursday.

Year 5: Have been set a Maya project this half term. The information is saved on this page click here.

Reading: Please listen to your child read at home and sign their Reading Record. We would like children to read at home at least 3x per week.  Reading Records will be checked every week and we aim to listen to children read in school once per week.
