New Reception Class 2020/21

Dear Parents/Carers

If you are visiting this page, chances are you have accepted a place for your child to join us at St Paul's, in the Reception Class, in September 2020. Unfortunately with the ongoing situation with the global pandemic things we would normally do to welcome you and your child can not happen. We hope to use this page on the website to keep you as up to date as possible and inform you about your child's transition into their new primary school.
We are so very pleased you have choosen our school and we look forward greatly to your sons and daughters joining the family of St Paul's.

Mr Wright

A note from Mrs Seddon and Mrs Owen

As Mr Wright has mentioned above, things are happening differently this year with regards to transition into reception. Many of our favourite things such as home visits, school visits and coffee mornings have been cancelled due to current safety measures. However, we have been planning lots of different ways in which the children can get to know the people they will be working with when they start school. We have uploaded our New Intake Meeting Presentation (with relevant changes), we would usually do this in the hall at our new intake meeting but as that can't go ahead we have uploaded it for you to read at home. We have also added a New Intake Booklet which will help you know how best to support your child in being ready for school. We will also, hopefully, have a video tour of the classroom and some photos to help children become familiar with their new setting.

If you have any questions, however big or small, please contact us directly on: newintake2020@cdatstpaulsprimary.co.uk

Best Regards,

EYFS Team
