Let's Walk 499 Miles for Molly
Dear Parents /Guardians
Many of you may already be aware that one of our pupils, Molly, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare, neurological condition – Battens Disease.
We, as a school, would like to do a fundraising activity to help Molly fulfil one of her dreams on her bucket list.

Let’s walk 499 miles to get Molly to Disney
We would like the children and staff to participate and collectively walk 499 miles -The exact distance from Stalybridge to Disneyland Paris, by completing as many laps of the school field as we can. It’s a grand total of 3616 laps to hit the target! The event will take place week beginning Monday 15th July 2019.
We plan for it to be a fun activity with children collecting stamps on a card for each lap completed and we hope to raise funds by collecting donations, big or small, for taking part in the challenge.
