What is Sports Premium
Sport Premium Funding to Primary Schools
Sports Premium Funding is money that the Government gives to Primary Schools to improve physical education (PE) and sport. This funding can only be used by schools to improve their provision of PE and sport. The Department for Education Vision for the Primary PE and Sport Premium Funding is that all pupils leaving primary school should be physically literate and with the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy, active lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.
