Update in relation to new lockdown announcement

Dear Parents

I am sure you will have been watching tonight or heard about the announcements by the Prime Minister about, lockdown, the closures to schools across England and the message to stay at home. All of us at St Paul’s received this information at the same time as you did tonight. We appreciate the impact this will have on all our families.

The imminent nature of this taking affect from tomorrow causes a number of practical problems and a number of things that need to be organised and addressed. As a result of this school will be closed to all pupils on Tuesday 5th January 2021 to allow school to organise for next steps.

School will then reopen on Wednesday 6th January for vulnerable children and those of critical workers. There will be a survey sent via school spider for the parents of critical workers to complete if they are requesting a place.

If you meet the criteria and wish to request a place you need to complete this survey through school spider and not via email.

(this is a link to the criteria relating to critical workers, when you have opened the document scroll down to critical workers section)

Most of all I hope you and your families stay safe and well.

There will be more information to follow.

Kind regards

Mr Wright
