Class 1 - Diwali and Fireworks

Class: Reception Year: 2021 - 2022

Class 1 have had a busy week! We have learnt about the celebration of Diwali. We listened to the story of Rama and Sita, watched how hindus celebrate diwali and explored rangoli patterns and mendhi.

We learnt about bonfire safety (from Fireman Sam) and made firework art work. We also made firework biscuits and edible sparklers! 

We have loved exploring numberblocks this week and we also put our building skills to good use, making the tallest towers!
