Erupting Volcanoes!

Class: Year 4 Year: 2023 - 2024

Since finishing our 'Keen to be Green' Art project, we have been looking at how different artists represent volcanoes in their artwork. We have looked at volcanoes represented by Andy Warhol, Jacob More and Hokusai.

We then went on to make our own volcanoes with a partner using paper mache and paint. When they were dry, we erupted volcanoes with a partner, using bicarbonate of soda, vinegar, washing up liquid and red food colouring. We had lots of fun!
