Reception - Romero Britto Artwork

Class: Reception Year: 2025 - 2026

Our focus artist this half term was Romero Britto. He is a Brazillian 'pop art' artist known for his love of bright colours, shapes and patterns.

We practised colouring some pictures based on Romero Britto's art, remembering not to put two of the same colour next to eachother and added patterns to our designs.

The following week we drew our own animals inspired by his art work. We painted them using watercolours before outlining our drawing with black to make the colours "pop". 

This task took perseverance and concentration, and we were all FANTASTIC at it! We were so proud of our work that we got to show it in Celebration Assmebly and received a headteacher's award!
