Reception - The Gingerbread Man

Class: Reception Year: 2022 - 2023

We had lots of fun with our Gingerbread Man work!
Firstly a mysterious trail of flour and some suspicious CCTV emerged! We made posters to try and track the cheeky Gingerbread man. Some of us made traps too! We retold the story using actions and repeated phrases. We looked at alternative versions of the story and changed the ending of our story to a happy one.
The Gingerbread Man brought us some friends to decorate and a hot chocolate treat! 
We received postcards from Gingy where we had to work out where he was hiding, but eventually he returned to our classroom and made friends with our class elf, Jingles.
